Hi All,

I have a question as i have been seeing some posts in internet about CEC applications will be accepted between NOV 9 2013 / 31 OCT 2013 will accept total of 12,000 applications with 200 under each NOC sub cap.

Does this mean that the applications will be accepted till the caps are filled. ( As we know that Express program is supposed to start from JAN 2015 onwards).

Or CEC will stop receiving applications after 31 Oct 2014. Even when caps are unfilled....Please explain !!

I guess they issued a new cic quota of 8000 apps from may 2014 to dec 2014.

I think you have the wrong info. Don't just believe until you read the cic site.
Please click this link for the latest one: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/applications-accepted.asp
It is now capped at 8000 until the Express Entry on January 2015.
So as long as the cap is not reached then I am sure they will continue to accept new applications.

The cap for CEC applications May 2014 till Dec. 2014 is 8000, with additional sub-caps of 200 for few Type B NOCs.
However, once the cap of 8000 is reached, CIC will not accept any more applications, even if the sub-caps are not filled.
Till 22 Sept 2014, applications received at CIC = 3342. (This data is updated weekly.)
CIC will continue receiving applications until end of Dec. 2014, as long as the cap of 8000 is not reached.
