Hi there, I used to be an international student in Canada, because of financial problems. I have to leave and return back to Vietnam. There is a long story between me left school and went through a H&C application so I will skip this part. Fortunately, during my time in Canada, I got to know a Canadian family, they tried to adopt me but I was too old so I just stay with them while the papers were being processed.
Long story short, I am applying to go back to Canada through SDS, thanks for the Canadian couple, they will pay for my tuition and give me a place to stay, not like the first time, I was completely by myself. I have my letter of acceptance, GIC, and a good IELTS score. Even though they say you do not need financial proof for SDS but I feel like one of the biggest red flags from me that I used to stop studying because of money. My adopted parents want to write IRCC a guarantee latter and get it notarized but I don't even know if it is a good idea since the purpose of international students is bringing foreign cash in Canada. I don't know if they like the idea of a Canadian couple paying for this Vietnamese student's tuition. Please help me if you have been through a similar situation. Thank you.
