Hi i received a caution for child abduction ( own children ,long story ! ) i believe that getting a caution makes me inadmissable . Iff thats the case do i wait the ten years to apply for rehabilitation or 5 years ? I was give the caution 6 yrs ago . Do we just send in our application for PR and wait to be told what happens or do we send in rehab app first and wait ? I am in Canada right now ,but we were going to apply via outside .Plz any help appreciated .
Any one have a notion what i should expect ...
Thanks !

I assume you are from the UK if you have a caution on your police record.

The answer is no....you are not inadmissible. Canada only looks at people being inadmissible whom have been charged and convicted with a crime.

But be honest and explain why you were cautioned.

You should note that cautions are considered as convictions by CIC. You admit the crime and a senior police officer cautions you.

Exactly in the CIC eyes its criminal. You can apply the worse that cn happen is they say no.Then wait the time and reapply.
