I have applied for my PR from Canada. I had done my medicals earlier this year and my wife's medicals came a couple of weeks back stating that the medical report had to be sent to Ottawa, Canada. My wife however is in India for a couple of months so I couriered the documents to her. Now she is at MAX Healthcare Chandigarh (hospital on the pre approved CIC list) and they are saying they will not send the medical report to Ottawa but rather they will send the report to the Canadian Consulate in New Delhi and those guys will then send the medical report to Ottawa.

Is this true??

Will MAX Healthcare Delhi be any different and be able to send the document to Canada directly?

I don't want to commit to doing this without being 100% sure. If they lose the medical report or I do it wrong based on what they are saying, it can lead to lot of delays. Can someone in the same sort of situation help me?? My colleague's wife did her medicals in the UK but they sent the document to Ottawa directly and not to the Canadian Consulate in London, UK so I am really confused.

Please help me.

Thanks,
Akash

They are correct the Medical results will go to New Delhi. The office processing your application will access the results electronically.

Thanks a lot for your timely help man. I greatly appreciate it!! So one more question ...... would it be quicker if she got the medicals done from New Delhi (The High Commission is in Delshi) as she's currently in Dehradun .... so Chandigarh is slightly nearer.

Where is the closest panel physician? (DMP) http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medicalinfo.aspx?CountryID=1995&CountryName=India

The DMP closest to the High Commission in New Delhi is Dr Law at Sadhu Waswani Hospital in Shanti Niketan. I applied for PR when I was in Canada, my file was transferred from Buffalo to NY and I returned to India. I did my medical done with this DMP. She sent reports to CHC and they upload in CAIPS/GCMS which is visible to your Visa office. The system also generates a report and send to your concerned visa office. This process is faster and economical than sending to Ottawa.

Best wishes

Dear ,

We can do medicals at any authorized DMP as per the CHC list.
The only thing is that u/ur wife should collect the Receipt given by the same.

Medicals are being sent electronically anywhere in the world provided they are done by the authorized DMP.

Hope it is cleared ....Relax and keep praying
