I am on a work permit in Canada. My wife wants to visit me to spend some time together.
her intended stay would be for 15 days
how much funds do i need to show in canadian chequing account and how much funds she needs to show in her bank account in INDIA?

Show bank statements over the past 4 months, ties to return (job letter with approved leave, business, income property etc.) and travel history. Given she has no family ties in India then she needs to show absolute ties to return because IRCC will assume she will stay since you have a work permit.

She needs to show cash in the bank so if coming for two weeks then $10k cash is a good minimum balance.

The cash in this case is probably the least significant issue. She needs to prove why she won’t attempt to remain in Canada with her spouse. That is harder to prove.
