wife medical expired

I am confused, as my first wife passed away due to cancer, I got married in 2015, and have two kids from my previous wife. My kids were PR but there PR has expired. I applied sponsorship for my wife and kids again. There file was accepted and my wife medical was done in March 2019, as my kids are minor so there was no medical. Still waiting how long it will take as her medical has been expired and what step I should take. As i have send two e mail on web form to know the status but no reply.

Did you apply to extend you kids status? Or to sponsor them again?
Did you wife have PR previously or are you sponsoring her for the first time?

Was you PR card renewed due to H&C? How much time have you been living in Canada since then? Were you compliant with your RO when you applied to sponsor them? Have you been living in Canada throughout the sponsorship process? Did your children ever land in Canada? Children are not exempt from medicals.

She probably will be asked to do second medical. They probably won’t ask for her second medical yet until everything opens up in kabul.

Thank you for your reply. I dont have patience anymore, I've already waited 18months for this stupid process to finish. Patience is one thing, but when a visa office takes long and very very slow to finish, you loose alot of patience and cant wait anymore

She probably will be asked to do second medical. They probably won’t ask for her second medical yet until everything opens up in kabul.

And if they will ask for second medical when kabul opens, that's going to take forever. The quarantine keeps on getting extended and everywhere is on lockdown till Sept. I hav to wait another 3 months now just to get 2nd medical. This whole immigration system is messed up.

Sponsorship, because clearly express entry visas gets approved within or under 6 months. They have the ability to do it but I don’t understand why spousal sponsorship do not get enough priority. If you look at USA, UK even Australia their spousal sponsorship is half the time as Canada. Oh well lets hope those of us who are waiting do hear good news soon.
