Wife extending study permit does spouse have to do anything

does spouse have to do anything to maintain OWP or does it always follow the main study permit application

Intersting question. I would say - spouses OWP is valid even if SP of another spouse is in a process of extending but I would like to get somebody else opinion.

Presumably, the spouse's OWP is only valid as long as the wife's study permit. The spouse must also submit an application to extend their OWP. It will not be automatically given along with the study permit extension.
