Why online payment of fee is mentioned as preferred?

It means if we pay through bank there will be delay in processing app?

It seems that with online payments, you get a barcode and that the money gets deposited directly in their account. Thus faster and preferred method.

Whereas other payments like bank money order / certified cheque, CIC would have to wait for the money to clear (get deposited) first before your application get processed. Plus no bar code associated with your payment either.

We have the bar code in the bank form

Oh yeah, that's right I forgot. You have to request a receipt forms from CIC if you want payments through the bank. They would have a bar code associated with it. However the barcode won't list the how much payment was made.
