Because I and my husband are living alone in Dubai and all His family has moved to Canada,it is very difficult to stay away from the family and you can not pay them any visit,so we have decided to move now.

Hi Hardcookie we are both in the March submission group! I'm the sponsor I live in Regina SK too :) My fiance is moving here solely to be with me. He would have preferred we moved to the US but I have a career here and in the US he doesn't make enough to sponsor me since most of his income is unclaimed (tips). He lives in a very warm state so the winters here are tough on him but despite that we'd live anywhere it meant we could be together :)

Wow! Nice!
All the best maledil. We may meet one day, you never know.

How do you get a PR so fast? I'm Canadian Citizen and I have to fill to many forms to sponsor my wife and bring my family to Canada, wow I'm impress only 4 months!!!

Hi there, my wife is a Canadian citizen as well, I believe it helps if you come from a visa free country, have a stable background and can prove you earn decent money. In turn I will love to Canada earn money and pay lots of tax. Perfect scenario

For many of the reasons some members have already stated.

I'm Canadian, my wife is not. We've been living in a Southern Mediterranean country for the last decade. It was really fun to travel and discover Southern Europe and Northern Africa. We had the best of times traveling Africa north and south, east and west. But it started to be less fun when our children started to grow (the oldest is 9, the youngest almost 3). Schools are awful, the French system of education is lagging, centuries behind, bureaucracy is killing us, houses are as expensive as what we see in some Quebec metropolitan areas, for example. Everything is getting expensive, way more than in Canada sometimes.

It's all those things like that - that seem little at first - that have influenced our decision to go live in Canada.
