Who should link the application, main applicant or spouse

Hi,
We send the application of family class sponsorship. I am main applicant, and my husband is sponsor. Just now he got confirmation from CIC, saying our application is received.
Now I think we can link it online. So my question is - who should link it? With which account? I already do have account on CIC, because I also applied for TRV. But message was sent to my husband, so we are kinda confused.
Would love to hear what is right thing to do.

Follow the steps carefully mentioned in the link to link the application to GC Key account. Either you or Spouse can link to their existing account. But PA details (UCI, Application no etc.) should be used.
