Who granted visa for Special Category in IT?

Just wanna know if anyone who have granted visa under Special Category in Information Technology which doesn't require LMO/letter from HRSDC?

It is only for work permits not permanent residence.

do you mean if anyone applied and got PR after having experience in IT and no current job offer from canada? If so, yes.

I mean, if someone applied for a Temporary Work Permit using under Special Category in Information Technology which doesn't require LMO/letter from HRSDC.

yupp!!! i applied for Work permit in 2007 under special IT provision and received the WORKER W1 visa within 5 weeks

I applied for temporary work permit in 2008 without LMO/HRSDC confirmation for Quebec and got it in 6 weeks.

I also applied TWP for Special Category in IT and no LMO at all. So I'm kinda worried.

I got med referral a week after my docs were submitted, and had my medical exam (went fine) and submitted to MCE last week.

I'm waiting for their feedback.

Do you think there's unexpected additional documents they would ask? What was your experience? Especially to aanbaan and accreddy.

at that time, my experience was a little less than 3 years... but that doesn't matter... we keep sending ppl from my company with 1 year experience as well.. should not be an issue.. the important thing is a Job offer...

I suppose about 2-4 weeks after submitting the medicals.

I am in Montreal.

Well i received medical request within a week. But later they asked me to come for an interview. evrything went well and iam in toronto now. Btw iam from india.
