Hi
My fiance and I are hoping to move to calgary next year if poss with our baby and possibly our 18 year old who will be a qualified nursery worker.
I am still currently studying to be a teacher via open university so will not have a career to nominate for immigration. However, My fiance, who is currently also not skilled, has been offered a job with his uncle training to be a joiner as he works.
Given that our circumstances are not so straightforward what is the best route for us to take to gain entry? Can his uncle nominate us on the family sponsorship scheme or could we apply for a work visa and get in that way? we weren't sure how the work visa route would work given that the job is initially for training purposes although paid a good starting rate.
Any ideas how we could proceed? We are planning on staying and buying in calgary so we eventually want to get the permanent residency/citizenship status.
Thanks in advance
Emma & Andy
