Which Stage of approval is normally associated with an interview?

My husband has sponsored me from within Canada. we have just received a letter saying we have been approved for sponsorship and its going to be sent into the next stage which is processing for My permanent residence. Could anyone tell me which Stage they would normally call in both of us for an interview...is it Sponsorship approval stage or permanent resident approval stage?

I guess that would be anytime from NOW, until the 2nd stage of your application is approved, they will usually send you a letter with sufficient time in advance, to be able to attend.

Since you have an inland application, there will definitely be an interview - it's called a landing interview and it comes at the very end of the process. You become PR during it and it's very simple, no relationship questions, just a formality.
If there's any issues or questions regarding your application, you could be called for another interview before hand. That's probably the one you mean. That one could come at any time between now and when you're approved.
