Hello friends,
A bit confusion regarding on which pages to be scanned in passport?

Some say that ALL the pages of passport are to be scanned and submitted, whether they are blank or have any print on them.
On the contrary, it clearly says on CIC website that ONLY bio-data pages and the pages with any print on them (such as stamps, etc) are to be scanned and submitted.. ::)

I have received my ITA and going to submit my PR file within a few days.

Kind help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Only the pages that have stamps and visas. I thought of scanning the whole passport so that CIC will know for sure that there are no hidden stamps or visas. I ultimately have scanned only the pages with visas and scans as it would be impossible to have so many pages under 4MB with clear scans

only visa and stamp pages along with 1st and last page of the passport

I have 3 passports:

Passport A is issued this month post ITA and has nothing except PCC..

Passport B has US and NZ Visa and stamps and I will upload that.

Passport C has Expired US Visa and stamps and the Bio Page is not very clear as it is very old and a little off in color and printing..

My question is should I upload Passport C?

Please help me with this. Thanks and +1 for your answer! :)

You have to upload your current passport pages that have visa and stamps and any other visas that are STILL valid even though the passport may have expired

Forget about passport C

My advice is if you own a scanner (i.e. you ont have to pay a lot of money in a shop) then scan the whole passport. Like xpressentry said it will be large in size but I compressed the PDF file and there doesn't seem to be any problems in my GCMS notes (AOR 17th Nov 2016).

Ok this is important, so what I understand is if my 10 year Valid Amerikan visa is in an expired passport I should upload that as well? I thought they were talking about the valid passports, I have 6 passports for gods sake :o

They only want your valid passport with the stamps in that. That's it. The whole point of the passport upload is for ID purposes. Do not upload old passports.

Technically, no. However it won't harm anything in doing so.

Nowadays, important databases covering passports and travel history are effectively linked. So all your travel history along with valid/expired visas and their respective numbers will eventually be seen by them anyways, even if you didn't upload expired passports/expired visas etc etc
