which one to renew first? PGWP or VISA

HI ALL,
My PGWP is going to expire as the same time as my visa. But I am sure that I can extend my PGWP because they did not give it to me fully because of my passport expiry date. SO now I do not know which one i should apply first !PGWP or visa?

Apply for the PGWP extension first. Once that has been processed, apply for a new TRV.
