I am working in a Quality and Supply chain management organization as a Shift Site Leader which provide a quality inspection to our client. We provide services to various clients but they are in the automotive sector. The client site where I am working is manufacturing just the part of the automobile but they do not make any automobile.
Below is my role and responsibilities:
1) 9221- Level B (Supervisor basically working in a Motor vehicle manufacturing production but my client make just part of engine for heavy motor vehicle)
2) 9227-Level B(Other Supervisor- contain inspect product)

Below is my role and responsibilities:
- Supervise various sorting activities & Quality Inspectors (time sheets, assign duties, training, etc.).
- Conduct ongoing audits of effectiveness including containment, sorting and rework methods.
- Coordinate changes to containment, sorting and rework methods.
- Collect, record and validate accurate data.
- Tag and isolate defective material.
- Provide description and/or justification for defective material.
- Perform visual, mechanical and functional verification of parts to ensure compliance to set specifications and quality standards.
- Perform sorting of product (act as a Quality Inspector) when required.
- Comply with relevant local Health and Safety legislation.
- Support Company Health and Safety Policies.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers in motor vehicle manufacturing production departments such as body shop, chassis, paint, trim and hardware and final assembly
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Train staff in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
2) 9227-Level B(Other Supervisor- contain inspect product)
- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers who assemble, fabricate and inspect products, such as jewellery, clocks, watches, bicycles, millwork, sporting goods and toys
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
- Prepare production and other reports
- May set up machines and equipment.
