Which NOC category??

Hi All,
In the recent days i have got confused regarding which NOC category i fall under. I am a computer engineer... Got work experience in Accenture as SAP consultant.. n now finished my MBA(IT N TELECOM) field.

Please if someone cn guide me which NOC i fall under if at all..

Hi,

i read that the duties define the category... mine was SAP consultant..which comes under administrator... ofcourse i was not manager in terms of job title...but yes becuase of my duties.. plus now education wise i am a manget in IT n Telecom... hence the confusion as to which category i belong!!

To add to Rupesh's comment, unfortunately, that is the only IT NOC (Managerial) that is on the Ministerial 38 List.
However, I'd advise you to go through these Links and answer the questions, and then decide:

as Bobby Rupesh said, they are two of the most experienced club members.
0213 requires Managerial duties and responsibilities to be performed.
if any of the duties and responsibilities required by cic, then you'd be rejected.
recruiting, budgeting, controlling and many mre duties are required to be performed in the last 10 yrs.

CIO & CHC is rejecting applicants nowadays who dont have IT dgrees in Bachelors and Masters who are applying under 0213
Youre lucky that you got IT degree in your masters. in Bachelors?
Btw, I have never heard about any MBA degree in IT and Telecom. Is it more like IT & Telecom Management? please clarify.

Hi Jnathan,

i have a Engineering degree in Computer Science. worked in an IT company Accenture. i know management in IT is not Common.. but there are only two such institutes in India. one is in Pune n the other is Panjab Univ Chandigarh which hold a good international reputation.

i hope this would be sufficient. what r ur thoughts..

Duties and Responsibilities must match with CIC's website. I meant not copy paste match. Resemblances.
I have seen guys got rejected for not writing their recruiting resposibility on their reference letter. So sad but this is how CIO and CHCs are dealing the papers right now.

Be truthful. decision is yours.
