which IELTS do I take up

hello,

I have received the PR status. As of now I am working in India but planning to move to canada in few months. After I settle der I want to work for dis year and den next fall I wish to apply for masters in canada. Which IELTS should I give now? N if I give general test den next year will I have to give the academic test also??

If you want to apply for masters - you must take Academic IELTS even though you might take General IELTS as well.
 
Hi, I am planning to apply for IELTS for Canada residency – I know I have to apply for General IELTS but which one – IDR, Cambridge or British council? Do I need to undertake any other English proficiency as well? Please help.

It doesn't matter which IELTS organization you go with - just pick the one that's closest to where you live!

IELTS is enough - you don't need to take other tests! (Unless you speak French then you can take the French language test to gain extra points)

Most likely NO - but if you're spoken language is poor, they might as you to show some proof of English competency

i suggest you give academic ilets test of British council. this will increase your proficiency in English for sure.

Academic IELTS is only for those who are applying for schools - others (for own purposes/immigration) are advised to take General IELTS
