On my form for Residency Status I was required to give information regarding all my children. As my daughter is under 23 yo she is still classified as a dependent in Canada and Immigration has sent her forms to complete in England to enable me to sponsor her. She has no intention to Immigrate to Canada, and with all that is going on at the moment, in her life, she has no time to complete these forms. Would anyone know which form I would need to remove her from my Immigration form that will allow me to continue with my Immigration process

If yo haven't sent in your application .I wouldn't worry as from August she will not be classed as a dependent. The age went down to 19 and under. As of right now even if she is non accompany she still has to have her medical police checks etc,so i would wait a few weeks.

Thank you Taffy7, yes I noticed that yesterday, that they had dropped the age. As I had sent my application from within Canada and cannot leave the country until I receive my Residency Status I was keen to get it going...also she has had the paperwork way past the timeline given for return to Immigration I was getting panicked over any implications that I may suffer. Any advice

If she doesn't return the paperwork and just ignores it, it won't go away. How old is your daughter? Is she under 22 or under 23? How old was she when you sent in your application? Does your daughter have any children of her own? Is she in a common law relationship with a partner? Does she attend school?

There are ways you can remove her from your application, but ignoring the paperwork is not one of them. If they don't hear from her, they can go ahead and make a decision on your application but you can be assured it will likely be a negative decision.

If they dont hear from her they can cancel your application. The only thing you can do is write a letter to CIC and tell them she is not cooperating . One of the more senior member will know what to do we just got to get one of them to reply . I was lucky my stepson was very good.

Thank you for the information Alurra71, my daughter is 22, was 21 at the time of the application, she has no children nor is in a common law relationship, and has just finished University and exams on 21 July 2014.
What were the other ways to remove her that you were referring to. I acknowledge that this will have a negative impact on my form, most probably already is having a negative impact. Am struggling to move forward.

If she is now out of school and not returning to full time studies, she is no longer classified as a dependent. Write your VO and include a copy of her degree, if you can for proof.
