Which documents needs to be a certified copy?

Hi Everyone,

I assumed before that all photocopies of original documents needed to be certified but I got the response in this forum, that if the document is already in English or Frenchm a standard photocopie would be enough.

Do you agree with this? Does it mean passports or birth certificates only need standard photocopies? Any specific document where CIC requested a certified copy in your experience?

Yes, this is what I did. Passport copy does not need to be notarized. This is what I did
