Hi guys,

Just wanna confirm: which date will be used to decide if one is applicable of the new C-24 rule or the existing 1095 days rule: The date when the application package is delivered and signed by CIC? Or the date when AOR is received on our side?

My instance: My application package is received by CIC today. IF(i say IF,just for example!!) C-24 gets into effective on Jun 01,2015, and CIC only open my package and send me AOR in Aug,2015. Will I still be applicable to the existing 1095 days rule? OR the new C-24 rule?

Thanks a lot.

You should be ok unless your application is returned for being incomplete.

To make my question simple, i would assume everything is ok about the forms/papers/photos.

SO you think it is he delivery date that matters?
Thanks.

The date when application is received by CIC CPC Sydney would be considered. If they receive it before implementation of C-24 rule and the application is not returned then you would be under 3/4 rule. It does not matter when they send AOR. Even the e-cas will mention the receive date when the application was actually received by CPC Sydney.

Is the receive date mentioned in the email AOR? I don't see this anywhere.

AOR should list the official date that CIC received your application. I would be very surprised if the AOR doesn't list the date received.

THANKS A LOT!

PS: I notice your time line is very fast! That is awesome! Hope I can get the same lucky:)

BTW, when will CIC check if all my papers in the application package is good and nothing is missing or wrong?
I guess it is b4 the AOR right?

yes, cic checks the paperwork and checks it if it meets the requirements and then they will accept it and send an AOR.

I just checked my AOR and it mentions the date when the AOR was actually sent. It does not state anything about when they have received it.
When I check e-cas, then only i can see the received date.
