East Hastings.
I also referred to parents of 13 year old. Read the previous pages.
No one said family to apply dorms. What's wrong with students themselves to apply dorms?
This student is a mature student who wants their family to join them in Canada. Universities don’t allow mature students to join the dorms with other undergrad students of typical age to be in undergrad. It would be extremely unusual to show up and learn your roommate is 40 years old with a family while you are 18. Wouldn’t work for either person. Dorms cater to students at a certain stage of life.
Doesn’t change the facts that parents with 7 and 13 year olds regularly work outside the home full-time
They also work from home or part time
If you don’t know BC this is sarcasm. Downtown east side is not a place I would recommend for families.
Kelowna is way more expensive than you think, you couldn’t find even one bedroom for $1200 its like $2500+ for 2 bedrooms without utilities. I live in Kelowna. Then he should consider go to dorm alone for the first year. At the end of the school year he look for accomodation for his family.
Kelowna is cheaper than Vancouver.
