Hey everyone,

I just wanted to know which airlines has the best refund policy? We are currently going to book a "return" trip for my husband.

Thanks

They're all pretty much the same. How much of a refund you can get (if at all) depends on the class of ticket you purchase. Expect to pay a premium for a ticket with a generous refund policy. Note that tickets are typically only refundable if you don't use any part of it (i.e. don't fly either leg). If you fly one leg and don't want to use the other, don't expect any refund.

If you are flying the the US you don't need a return ticket. Most fares from there are based on one ways...same with Canada. If you want a refundable ticket it going to be a lot of money as the outbound flight also needs to be refundable.

But to answer your question. All American carriers have the same refund policy if a refundable ticket is bought
