Where will my Outland application be sent?

Hello there,
I am going to be sending out my PR app on Monday and I just checked the processing times. UGH!!
I am applying Outland and I am from the US. (California)
I know that I am mailing the whole application package to Mississauga, but how will I know where my application (applicant) will be sent?
Will it be sent to the Los Angeles or New York Visa Office? It lists 39 months for the New York Visa office & 27 months for Los Angeles. I thought the Outland way was faster. I had read a lot of people say it only takes 8-12 months.
Does anyone have any information that will make me feel better? Haha

Hello! United States applications are actually processed through the Ottawa office (website says 17 months but is currently averaging on 8-10). The only way your application would be sent to LA or New York is if there are lots of red flags or suspicious things. So if your application is pretty straightforward, they'll assess it at Mississauga, give the sponsor approval, and send it over to Ottawa.

Your app will be sent to Ottawa, unless you have criminality issues or a suspicious application, only then would it be sent to LA for an interview. I think NY no longer does spousal.

The times for most VO's are very misleading. Those times mean that 80% of applicants are processed FASTER than that time. Plus the times are off because many visa offices process applications from more than one country, and some of those countries require more time. That's why the actual average for USA could be said to be 9 months. Now, some people get theirs processed much, much faster, some slower.
