So my common-law partner and I have essentially completed our entire application package; we need only to organize things, pay the fees and send them off. But we're not sure where, exactly, to send the application. We will be applying through the Berlin visa office (we both live in Germany at the moment) - do we sent the application there, or do we send it to Mississauga?

This is the Mississauga address we've found:

Sponsorship: (Type of sponsorship*)
Case Processing Centre ─ Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, Ontario
L5A 4N6

Is that correct, even for outland applications?

Yes you need to send it to Mississauga for outland apps. We sent ours from Germany with regular mail, but with a tracking number, once its out of Germany you can track it through Canada Post website. But it took 2 weeks to get delivered, if you want it to be there faster and safer but spend more money, I suggest to send it with a courier and then you need a different address:

Courier address (no public drop-offs)
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 1200
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8

Send it to CPC-Misssisauga, yes, but use the courier (Robert Speck) address if you are using a service like DHL or FedEX.

Thanks for the quick and helpful replies!

Now to get everything together, send it in and worry for several months.

Don't worry! Berlin is very quick for straightforward cases! :)

I just hope we're straightforward! We're still afraid that common-law status and being students will be a hindrance.

We applied common-law and are both students! :) Just make sure you have a very thorough application. (Our app was only in Berlin for 6 weeks before we got PPR)
