Hi,

I am a Canadian citizen that has been a resident of Sweden for the past three years. I am sponsoring my common-law partner to immigrate to Canada with me (hopefully!) this fall. Our application is almost complete, but I'm not totally sure where we send it- to the Canadian High Commission Office in London, or to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga?

The Embassy in Sweden doesn't answer any questions about immigration, the phone number for London is just a recording of a woman reading off the website, and the response i got from the email form was "we do not give advice on individual cases".

Hi

You send the complete application (sponsorship and PR application) to Mississauga. They check the sponsor eligibilty and (providing you qualify), send you a letter telling you the outcome and send the application to London to have the PR application assessed along with the relationship.

Good luck.
