Where to pay for landing fee?

Hi, My husbad got his PPR the other day, Ask lang po ako..

One of the requirements na hinihinigi nila from him is payment of right of permanent residence fee. $490 diba?



"Payment of Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) to our office in Mississauga
by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid. Please provide a photocopy of your
receipt. For more information, your sponsor should consult this link:
www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp.
NOTE: Non confirmation from our office in Mississauga regarding RPRF payment
means no PR Visa issuance. Provide us with the scanned copy of the receipt."



1. Do i need to pay it personally in mississauga?
2. If i will pay it in the bank, where will i send the copy that I already paid the RPRF??
3. IIf i will pay it online, Can I pay it using my other's credit card?

I suggest you pay it online as you will get an immediate confirmation and receipt info. via e-mail. This system works in conjunction with their other systems (supposedly) and provides the best proof. You can then scan the receipt and send it to them and call them (just for back up) and give them the receipt info. for your file. You cannot go to the Mississauga office in person. Yes you can use your spouse's credit card - make sure you know the 3 digit security code on the back as well as all of the face info. on the front of the card when you go online. Good luck!

Yes, again, make sure you have the 3 digit security code on the back and that it is a card accepted by CIC.
