Hi Guys,

I am sure this forum has some excellent and experienced readers as well as writers.

This question directed to people in Canada or People already done a good research, to help us decide where to go to Vancouver or Toronto, or could be somewhere else ?

For me, I am a Software Industry Professional, specifically in (Oracle (OCP) , Project Management (PMP) and iPhone Development (Hobby & Not yet certified)).

Would love to hear your opinion, which will help us "People not yet got the Visa" to decide our destination land, and start our research.

Many thanks for reading, and many thanks in advance for your opinion.

:D Possibilities are more in Ontario - I mean Toronto and nearby cities; as well as job seekers are also more concentrated here.

Thanks wilson, but I always think like this:

Since you mentioned job seekers are concentrated in Toronto, which will lead to more people are sitting without jobs, because the job seekers are more than the jobs available by high percentage.

While, in Vancouver, the job seekers are less, and the available jobs are less too, but i think the percentage of people without job is less in Vancouver.

What about Calgary?

Hi,

According to my opinion, Greater Toronto has more commercial establishments, Industries and related business companies than other cities in Canada. Therefore chances for job are also more. A person who cannot find a job here can look for chances in other province also. If succeeded he/she can move to that place accordingly. A Canadian PR is not restricted for working in other provinces.

Hi,

Job opportunities abound in Alberta, as i've read in many recent news. If job opportunity is the deciding factor to choose destination, then I think you have to move in that direction.

nice thread to ask my question too! what are the best places to live permanently in Canada? (if God blesses and we get our pm!)
what we are looking for in a place (random order) is:

- nature (trees, parks, views)
- safety (kids' safety, our safety, not overcrowded neighborhoods etc
- entertainment (cinemas, shopping malls, sports courts etc)
- education (for kid as well as for ourselves too)
* I am not adding the job opportunities as I think is more a matter of luck

thank you! Our priority (I don't even know why!) is Toronto. Maybe because of the Lake, maybe because of the multicultural society). But we have heard nice things about Vancouver too! Of course Montreal is always a great choice but we decided it to stay out of it for the beginning!
