HI.. CAN SOMEBODY HELP ME PLEASE? WE DONT HAVE ANY IDEA HOW, WHERE TO START? WE ARE PLANNING TO MIGRATE IN CANADA BECAUSE OF THE BENEFITS OF THIS COUNTRY. IS IT RIGHT THAT AFTER 10 YEARS OF WORKING IN CANADA YOU WILL GET A PENSION? HHHHMMM.. IF FOR EXAMPLE YOU APPLIED IN AN AGENCY IS THE YEARS THAT YOU WILL BE WORKING WILL BE COUNTED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF CANADA??

Information on the various immigration programs can be found here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

You will have to read through this material in detail to see if you qualify to apply. If you don't have time or don't feel comfortable reading this material yourself, consider hiring an immigration lawyer or consultant.

I would not put too much weight on the Canadian pension plan. First of all, even at current payout rates, it isn't very much money - certainly not enough to live well on. Secondly, Canada's population is aging and this is expected to place strain on the pension plan. This means that payouts in the future will likely be lower than they are today. Don't count on the pension plan to support you in old age. You'll need your own savings.
