Where do you do your laundry? (Quebec- South shore area)

So I'm visiting my husband who lives in Quebec. He moved into his first apartment in November.
Before that he lived in the same house his whole life.

We live in a 3 1/2 and he has no clue where people who don't have laundry hook ups do their laundry. I know the larger units have hookups bc I've heard the person above us doing laundry. But he says he's pretty sure there's no laundry facility in our apartment building. I'm confused as to where people do their laundry since I have never seen a laundry mat here and he says they aren't a popular thing.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Side note: We do our laundry at his mom's house but we can't always get their as often or stay as long as I'd like to get laundry done.

Do you mean South Shore of Montreal like Brossard, or South Shore of Quebec City like Levis?

I don't ever remember hearing people in Quebec referring to Levis and the rest as South Shore. I lived there for 8 years. It is usually referred to as the Levis side.

Yeah, I mean South Shore of Montreal. Brossard, Candiac, Delson that area.

There was only one is like... a big radius. Hrm :/ Guess we're stuck doing it at his mom's til we get an apartment with laundry hookups.

Probably people hand wash and dried their clothes at home! No need to use laundromat or washer/dryer!
