My husband and I are planning on applying Outland, we have a Canadian-born son, where, if at all, do I need to include him? He obviously isn't a dependent on the application but I was just wondering if I need to include his birth certificate or something or if there is any form where he should be mentioned.
I appreciate any input!

If I remember correctly I had to list all my children and step children on my application. My step children are Canadian born my own children are not. I would imagine where it asks for a list of all children and any step children is where you would list your son. Also although none of my children were accompanying me to Canada one was still under 22, I think they have changed the age limit to 19, my son was 19, when I applied so I did have to include his birth certificate. I know we did not have to include my step sons birth certificates although they were over the age of being dependents in BC, which is 19, so I don't know if that is why we did not have to include their birth certificates. Maybe someone with more information can help you with that part of your question. But I am sure you need to list your son and maybe write something explaining he is Canadian born. I hope my answer is not too confusing.

You have to include him in the Additional Family Information form. (IMM 5406 and the sponsorship evaluation form 5481 under 6 B
