when will they ask me for the medical exam?

I got the acknowledgement letter from cic on April 25, and I am still waiting for them to ask me to go for an medical exam , when I looked at others timeline , some of them got their medical exam done just few days after they got the cic application no. some have to wait for one to few months , so what determine that ??

Dont worry be patient. They usually request the Medicals within 4-6 weeks after applying for applications within Canada.
Sometimes they will send medical request along with the File number and at times they will send you the acknowledgement and then send you the medical request in couple of weeks. Hope you get the request Soon!!

From what I know, for Applicants Outside Canada the medical request takes longer because they do security check before sending the medical requests for applicants who have applied inside Canada applicants they do Security check after Medicals and The 4-6 timeline is for them. Am not 100% sure the timeline for outside Canada Applicants as they vary with depending on Visa Offices.
