Hello everyone, I recently got my Multiple TRV and during my application I mentioned that I will be going to Canada for a month vacation this May to celebrate my birthday however, we changed the schedule and plan to celebrate my birthday in the Philippines instead since my mom from Canada will be going home...

Now, I am planning to go to Canada for Christmas and New Year do you think I will be encountering problem with the Immigration officer upon arrival as to why I will be travelling on December instead of May which was originally declared in my IMM5257 form.

I am currently in Saudi Arabia.

Thanks!

No - you won't encounter any problems.

For Canada, is there any specific timeframe that the visa should be use esp for multiple? like within six months of issue?

For US, I used it after 7 months it was issued (not the original date declared in my DS 160) but didnt have any problem in my POE (JFK). I was even stamped max 6 months stay.

BTW..what does FPC means written on the visa stamp (under C. REC)

1. No, it just has to be used before it expires.
2. Fee Paid Canada.

what makes you say it's a tough route? if theres' a valid job and LMO offer? why design such if they make it harder at the end?

TRV is for visiting temporarly and going for a job interview could be one of the temprary business you could be on while on TRV. What they don't like is that you knowingly request a TRV to look for a job and then during your visit stay apply for a WP.

I don't know yur specifics, so maybe it is not that tough.

The design is made in good faith that people won't be looking for holes on the rules so they can do their will. That is what is cool about Canada, it thinks you are an honest person that will play by the rules without looking for a way to take them to the limit. ;)
