when to submit the criminal record checks

It does not say during the initial application that you must submit your criminal record checks, but some people suggest to do it. Should I do it with the first applications forms or wait until the London Visa Office Requests them?

Send it with your application, it is always better to send everything and not leave it behind for London to request it. ie it also depends on which application..
i am guessing family class so everything goes with the application.. it makes it faster..

waiting for london to request your records will add another 2 months.. trust me the eait kills..

It very definitely does say to send the police clearance with your application. Check the document checklist.
