When to submit FBI clearance??

Hi friends,

I am nov applicant, waiting for AOR as u all know. I am also awaiting PCC from FBI, applied in August reached application on August 18.. My question is can I send PCC to CIC once I get AOR or do I need to wait for CIC to request? I did send PCC from my home country with the application. Suggestions plz...

Once you get your AOR, you can send the clearance. No need to wait for CIC to ask.

Hi,
although it's not recommended sending any additional documents unless requested by CIC, but you can do so in order to save some time by sending your FBI clearance straight after you get your AOR (as Maniac mentioned).

Once you get your AOR, you can send the clearance. No need to wait for CIC to ask.

Sara1981 - we're in the same boat per PCC. I applied August 19th and got my FBI PCC last week. Are we allowed to open it prior to sending to CIC? I applied to CIC in October and expecting my AOR in approximately 2.5weeks

U got it last week I am still waiting.. Good... I don't see any issue in opening... Coz for my home country they just gave a simple sheet as my PCC.. I just submitted along with my application.. Don't worry too much btw when did u apply mine is reached on nov 5.

Ottawa ON K1A 1L1 Canada

You should attach a quick note with your full name, application # / UCI, Date of birth asking them to attach the PCC to your file.
