When to show Proof of Funds ?

hi Friends,

Do we need to submit the proof of funds at the time of submitting the PR application or can we show it at the time of entering the country? We thought the first one is correct however we got to know from someone that we need to show the POF only at the time of entering the country.

With the application and some times they may ask while entering as well

Thank you replying. So, do i need to upload bank balance summaries while submitting PR application ? which i plan to complete by next month. Just trying to ascertain time at hand.
