When to ask for MP's Help?

It has been more than a month since my wife submitted her passport to Singapore V.O. How long does it usually take to have it returned?
How much longer should I have to wait before I contact my local MP for help? Much appreciated.

As per my understanding, they have absolutely no power until you have passed the posted processing times for your visa office.

If you post in the Singapore thread they can tell you how long this step normally takes and they can also probably tell you who to call or where to go if it has been taking too long.

I don't think your MP will help in this situation. The people in the singapore thread can help you for sure.
