Hello,

I have received my IELTS test scores, and I think my overall score is 475. I wanted to confirm with the members here that I have everything I need before I apply and when would be the right time to apply.

I have a Master's degree from the U.S., and based on responses to my previous questions, I have got that degree evaluated by WES. I have received the evaluation certificate from WES. I didn't get my Undergraduate degree evaluated.

I have received my IELTS test scores in the mail.

Is that all I need for submitting my profile? Do I need anything else? I am an Indian citizen residing in the U.S.

Also, I know that there is only 60 days to apply once they send me the invite. So, I wanted to know what other documents I need to get ready before my application time comes, and based on the time needed to obtain those documents, when is the right time to submit my profile.

I know PCC is required, and proof of finance is also required. I don't know how long PCC will take (if it will take close to 60 days, should I first apply for PCC and then only submit my EE profile?). Also, what other documents do I need to keep ready for the application?

The other concern I have is, I don't have enough money to show right now. However, I have started saving and I believe I should have around 15000 CAD by the end of April. Currently, I only have around 7000 CAD in the bank. Is it a problem that I won't have an average balance of 15000 over the last few months? Considering I don't have enough money right now, should I delay submitting my profile? If having 15000 CAD by end of April is fine, then I could probably submit my profile sometime this month as I'd have 60 days to apply.

Finally, what are my chances of getting an invite? Is there an official way to confirm my scores before submitting? I know I can calculate my score somewhere, but how can we be sure that that's what CIC's calculation also is?

Thank you very much to all the members here. This forum is amazing.

475 would get you an ITA in almost every single draw so the first thing you need to check is if you stand to lose any points in the coming months (probably because of an impending birthday).

Apply for FBI report right away, it can take 8-10 weeks or more - that will be the single biggest delaying factor in your post ITA process.

You don't need to have an average balance of $15000 for 6 months. If you have the money at the end of April, you are good to go provided you can conclusively prove that none of those funds is borrowed. One way of proving this is by submitting 6 months of bank statements which will serve to prove that there haven't been any suspiciously large credit transactions in the recent past (if indeed that is the case).

Recommend that you not rush into creating a profile right away - create a profile in April, you'll get an ITA in 2 weeks or so and you can probably submit the application by the end of that month.

All the best!

Thank you, Asivad. Could you please tell me what other documents are needed for the application?

And, what do you mean by FBI report? Is it the Police Clearance Certificate?

Also, why do you suggest creating a profile only in April? Is it because I don't have the PCC yet?

Check the generic list here ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Yes.

Yes. If you create it earlier than that, you won't have the PCC while submitting application.
