I have just received my acceptance letter to get my study visa. I haven't traveled to Canada, but I will by the end of December 2020. The thing is, my husband now wants to join me, but we stated on my application that he won't. We don't know if we should ask for the open work permit since now or wait until I arrive in Canada, because the processing time is 17 weeks, so, by then, I will be in Canada already.
What do you think? Should we wait? is there any chance that my acceptance letter is canceled because of this? we did not lie, it's just that we gathered more money, and he finished the critical project that was stopping him to travel.
