When is the expiry date of Work Permit?

Hello all,

I'm filling out the citizenship application forms, and it asks about my latest work permit expiration date.
I'm wondering if it is that date printed on the work permit, or it is the date on the back of my PR card.
The date on the work permit is after the date I became PR.

IRCC doesn't ask about the work permit expiration date.
They ask about the day you no longer held that work status, which is the day you became a PR. Give that one.

They're not concerned with what date your work permit was potentially going to run until, they're only interested in the date that you no longer were on that work permit - therefore your work permit "expiry date" would be the date that you became a permanent resident since that and any other permits you held became invalid on that date.
