When in the process do you get notified for interview or interview waived?

Could someone out there let me know when in the application process that VO notify you for interview or interview waived. TXH!!!

There is no time frame for that only if they dont ask for interview thay ask for passport or sand copr letter

they will will send you a letter or email (if you gave one to them) for an interview. If they ask for passport request, then no interview will be taken; I belive. They do inform you though

you know you don't require an interview when you receive your COPR in the mail. they always have the right to call an applicant in for an interview, no matter which stage they are at before the COPR is received. if you require an interview, you will receive notification. not all visa offices actually acknowledge the fact the interview has been waived.
