When does the file open after sending?

Hello,

I have received the CIC Sydney letter dated March 11, 2009. I have 120 days which officially ends July 9, 2009.

I am planning to send all my documents to the UK visa office on May 7, 2009. So, the question is that will the immigration office start the process as soon as they receive the supporting documents or wait till the 120 day deadline July 9, 2009.

It would no make sense to wait for the 120 days to expire. They say they will put the cases into processing immediately. So I guess they will start as soon as they receive your full application.
