Hi, I just received an email requesting passport and pictures.

My question is when I get my passport back, do I also get my PR card? If not when can I expect it?

Also, what exactly do they do with my passport? Do they print like PR visa on it?

Hi,

You should get your passport back in a week or so depending on the load they have. They will issue a COPR and stamp a Visa on your passport (if you need one, some countries don't require a visa) for you to land in Canada.

After that, you will need to land in Canada in order to start the process for your PR Card which will take around 60-100 days depending on which month you land. As of now the wait time for the PR Card is 61 days. You will need to provide them with a Canadian address at the time of Immigration.

Thanks for the reply, that is exactly the info I needed. I wonder why they take so long to make a PR card.
