When did the medical exam get done compared to when you sent the application?

I am getting worried that my husband will have to redo his medical. He did the medical Feb 10th and I still haven't sent the application yet...but I think i will be ready to send it on monday...which will be April 2nd. Do you think most likely he will have to redo the medical? I know alot of people say to do the medical at the last minute before you send the application cause it expires in 12 months. I'm in the US and it will be going to the Buffalo visa office.

If you want check out the jan spreadsheet in my signature line....I've posted the meds don date in the notes column...it'll give you an idea of when a few of us took it compared to app sent date.

Regardless though, you would never get it redone now.... Focus on getting the application sent and then just trust you will be approved before next Feb! . Which I'm sure you will!

Your husband is from US so I guess would be getting processed in Buffalo, the spreadsheet for Buffalo seems to indicate most cases are taking 2-3 months to approve there. And it's taking 2-3 months to go through Mississauga for sponsor approval. So you're talking probably 4-6 months in all.

Wow, that's fast...i'm hoping to move next summer though, so i hope the landing time didn't run out before the summer if we did get approved that fast. We are going through the Buffalo visa as well cause we are in the US.

My husband got his medical done in December and we just sent the application in last week. I'm little worried about the gap but hoping it doesn't expire because that was a huge chunk of cash to get it done =S

Some people got medical extended but some needed them redone. I guess it's all based on the VO's mood!
