Hello Everyone,

I have done my medical last week. Today received RPRF Payment, and I have made the payment.
I am not in Canada right now. I am in my home country.
Could you please let me know what the next step is after this?

Thank you for all replies!

If everything is OK, most probably, you'll get PPR, passport request next stage. When? Hard to say.

CIC can request additional information anytime but looks like RPRF means everything is ready, at least usually.

Thank you for the reply.

I'm overseas now. If I do get Passport Request, then do I have to courier it to canada?

are you on holiday or did you apply from outside of Canada?
I believe if u applied from outside Canada, then you will have to send to your local visa office

I applied inland Canada. Then I moved to my home country.

Do I send it to my local visa office?

Thanks for the advice.

I think so but the applicant should communicate his new address to CIC before get PPR, in fact he should do it immediately after move.

P.S. Try to avoid sending Passport in different country through mail. It is a risky thing to do.

Keep all your address up-to-date with CIC.

Now say if they send you PPR, and it says you have to submit your Passport within Canada for stamping, then you can email them back(not on same email from which you received PPR) saying you are currently in this country and it would be really nice if your stamping procedure can be done in the country you are currently residing in, and they will arrange it for you.

When I got mine request for RPRF the letter stated that the VO will make the decision in 30 days, maybe yours set some sort of a time line as well? It has been two week already and I have been checking my e-mail every 5min, like a crazy person... hoping it will be all done very very soon ;)

Hi there

Was hoping someone can shed some light.

I got RPRF request last week and in the letter from cic it said I've cleared eligibility and now my security and criminality is ongoing. Does this mean everything such as NOCs, reference letters, proof of funds has all been approved?

Also does it mean if security and criminality is ok that PPR will arrive shortly?

I'm from London uk and am uk citizen, not sure if that makes a difference.

Thank you
