Hey ,
So I came to Canada on May 1st,2012 on a working holiday visa.(I am a german citizen)
This visa expires May1st,2013 but Ill stay in the country as visitor because we are sending our sponsorship application on May 1st , 2013.
Ive been living together with my canadian boyfriend since May 1st last year and we are gonna apply as common laws.
Now I have no idea if I should fill out my tax return as non resident ?
I have a common law partner here(which is technically not a common law partnership yet,as u have to live with your partner for at least 1 year which would be May 1 2013) , shared bank accounts etc.
Would that count as residential ties? So would i be considered a resident?
