What would be the date of TRV expiration?

Hi guys,

I'm an international student in Canada and want to apply to renew my TRV. My study permit is going to expire in one month, so I wonder if the expiration of the new TRV would be until the study permit expiration, or they would issue me a visa until my passport expiration.

In this case, the date of expiry of study permit will be the date of expiry of TRV.
