Hi Everyone,
I got my first job in Canada Last December and working for 2 months now. My Employer is ready to apply for an LMIA and they doesn't have previous experience in this process. I'm wondering which LMIA would suit in my situation.
Challenges:
1) I have only 4 months left on my PGWP work permit.
2) My Employer don't have experience in LMIA process.
I have 5 years of International Experience and found a Job of same NOC category. I also fall under FSWP Express Entry category, which I'm applying right now.
I heard from a friend(He has about a year experience) that Duel Intent LMIA is the one being applied by his company. But, I determined a category FSWP supporting LMAI which also helps to extend my work permit.
Right now, I'm so confused which LMIA should apply for me. I want the LMIA to support my EE profile as well as to extend my stay. Also, I'm wondering if the Duel Intent LMIA denotes that it support both EE profile and work permit.
Someone please help me understand this.
