Hi everyone!need some help.i declared common-law as my status in my tax.right now im on gathering datas and filling up application for my open permit and permanent resident.should i declare the same status (common-law) in my application for permanent resident?or i declare single? And can i sponsor my common-law partner in the philippines even if his not yet legally annulled.questions and worries i have that i know for sure will affect my applications.please advice me on what should i do.thanks in advance.

Yes, tick common-law.
If you state you are single when you are actually common-law, you will not be able to sponsor your partner in the future, because CIC will say you lied on the application.
You can sponsor him as a common-law partner even if he is still married. CIC knows there is no divorce in the Philippines, and the Manila visa office is used to dealing with situations like this.

Heres another question i have to ask.In the application for Permanent Resident ,Letter C.For Family members outside Canada.Should I write my common-law partners name on it alone.Or i have to include my parents and my sister`s name?Thank you in advance. :)
