I needed to check on citizen certs apps for my children... Irish born, i am irish born/bred, Missis is canadian born/bred

While on to CIC, i asked about my situation.

I have a forgery conviction, Feb '99 and a DUI April '00, - was given different info, should i do what CIC say, or do advice on forums??

Your children just need to apply for passports -- they have citizenship by descent through your wife.

Both can get things wrong, or they can be right, but every case is different.
